For Publishers
Acta is a personal reading delivery service. When a user adds an article or publication to their Acta queue, our service retrieves the content of that page — exactly as a user's browser would — and reformats it for comfortable reading on e-ink devices like Kindle or Kobo. The content is delivered to that single user's registered device and is not stored long-term, not shared with other users, and not republished or displayed on our platform.
Acta is designed for readers who want to consume your content in a distraction-free environment on their terms — offline, on devices with superior readability, without ads or notification interruptions. We think of this as an extension of your existing readership, not a replacement for it.
Acta does not circumvent paywalls or authentication. Content behind login screens, subscriber walls, or other access controls is only retrievable by users who are already authenticated on those sites.
We do
We do not
If you would prefer that Acta not retrieve content from your domain, you can request an opt-out below. Upon receiving your request, we will block all content from your domain for all Acta users, remove any content from your domain already stored in our systems, and prevent future retrieval. We aim to implement opt-outs within 7 business days, though in most cases it will take effect much sooner.
Opt-outs apply to the domain(s) specified. If your publication spans multiple domains, please list all of them. You can also reach us directly via our Contact page.
For copyright claims or takedown notices, submit a formal DMCA notice via our Copyright & DMCA Policy page. For any other publisher inquiry, use our Contact page.
